nirvananews: Today in 1991, Nirvana had their Record release party for ‘Nevermind’. The band did not perform, with recorded music only being played. The party was shut down when the band started a food fight, & having finished ripping down all the Nevermind posters, the band then piled into a Limo and the party continued at Susie Tennant’s house, the Geffen/DGC promo woman. VERMIN!!!

Peer Pressure

---The Strokes discuss Albert's dressing habits with Conan O'Brien (November 25, 2003)---
Conan: My first thing, Albert, I just have to ask you, I've noticed every time that you've come you're in a different, sort of, cool suit. What's the deal? Is that just you? Is that you feeling like, "I need to wear a suit"? How does it work?
Albert: I'm scared.
Conan: You're scared? Don't be scared? Do you pressure him into doing it? Do you make him wear a suit?
Fab: Yeah, I put a gun to his head.
Conan: Why don't you wear a suit? Why do you make your friend wear a suit?
Fab: Because I'm the drummer, I never get noticed.
Conan: Really? That's a weird, sort of, peer pressure you don't think about. You know. You know about like drugs and alcohol, but someone pressuring someone to wear a three piece suit just feels off the charts somehow.
